Gabriel Zertuche

Gabriel Zertuche has been in the talent industry for over 15 years. He has worked as a professional dancer, choreographer, and character coach for major ballet and opera companies.

Zertuche was named Ballet San Antonio’s Artistic Director in 2012 where he immediately widened the companies creative repertoire with critically acclaimed new works and the addition of internationally accomplished artists. Zertuche has been described as “the classic artiste preserving the love of dance in our city.”

Zertuche began his professional ballet training at Coleman Academy and Midland Festival Ballet in Midland, TX and later Milwaukee Ballet. He performed in major classic ballets including Sleeping Beauty, Swan Lake, Giselle, Romeo and Juliet and the Nutcracker. He has choreographed major ballets for the Tobin Center of San Antonio such as Dracula, The Nutcracker, and Scheherazade.

After leaving the ballet company in 2015, Zertuche began to work in the Texas fashion industry with various designers and boutiques.
